The world can't b simply BLACK or WHITE...
It has multiple shades, which ofcourse vary with perspectives..!
for the one bereft of hope...it is white. he doesnt see any possibility of betterment and is contended with how things are.
for the one who is a pessimist, or rather escapist...the world is lost in the darkness of black.
for an optimist, the world is ORANGE, comprising of RED belonging to the evil, WHITE belonging to the saints and YELLOW belonging to the "hope".
I AM AN OPTIMIST: i believe that the world is not "all bad", and that its not perfect either. but wat i believe in most is that the imperfections of any kind can be handled!
and mere existence of certain problems and setbacks doesnt enslave me...i believe i am free...!
*world: in the above para may b taken as country!
a country needs its people to nurture it, pamper it and preserve it..! but this doesnt mean that only the people who do things like growing trees, collecting waste, cleaning roads contribute to its well being!
believing in a good future and appreciating small or big developments counts in too..after all ur belief is ur driving force..!!
its sad to c some youngsters indulging in "foul -mouthing" our country...i wonder where the future is headed...at the mercy of such sadists!
i would conclude my freedom through the following lines:
we are free;
to open our eyes,every morning and look at the splendour around us...
...or to shut our lids,at the sight of anything that seems to be unpleasent.
we are free;
to inhale every freshness and fragrance circling us...
...or to hold our breath, to stop smelling anything foul.
we are free;
to use a common land to wrap up all our journies and errands...
...or to stay within the walls, in the precinct of which we find our cosy shelters.
we are free;
to just appreciate the good things of life...
to just criticize the imperfections
...or to praise the good things and dislike the bad.
we are free;
to choose to be protective towards our land and,work for its progress, in our own,personal ways...
...or to have a "who cares" attitude and sit and watch our land being encroached upon, misused or simply abused.
what really enslaves us is our MIND: the generator of our thoughts.
we are shackled by the chains of the prejudiced,cynical,skeptical and unreasonable thoughts. one of them being "we are living an artificial freedom"
and the most disheartening fact is, we surrender to such thoughts!
